Weak points of the PzkwIV G

Couldn't find a T-34/76B technical drawing of a high enough quality to make one for them, but the principle is the same. Target wheel sprockets, Track tread links, View slots, gun mountings, hatches, exposed gas tanks, Turret rings, the area of the tank where the ammo is stored, ( on the T-34 that would be directly below the turret extending back about 2 feet.) and if you can get a top down shot, exhaust ports and the engine itself.

Also, Note that a 90 degree angle is the prime firing angle. Anything other than that has an increased risk of deflection of the round. (although if the round fails to penetrate it will bounce regardless.)

After further research, I've discovered that the highlighted semi-circle around the turret IS NOT the turret ring I thought it was, but armored ribbing designed to project the turret ring. In most Tanks of the era, there was a 2-4 inch gap between the chassis and the turret. Putting a 20mm Anti-Tank round into that gap would break the turret ring and seal the turret down onto the chassis. Result in being unable to traverse the turret, and them having to turn the entire tank left or right to aim in those directions. Elevation would not be affected unless that particular component was destroyed.

Also note that the right side does NOT have the same weakness as the left.
