Some notes, This is going to be a bit more serious bizness then the previous event given the properties of the simulation being used. A Pre-mission briefing will be planned and executed, a signal card given, and flights assigned. While keyboard/mouse flight is possible, A gamepad is better, and a joystick is best. Notify me if you wish to invest in a Scout aircraft (Scout aircraft is defined as any two seater in the following link. http://riseofflight.com/en/store ) Or any non-standard fighter. As, Depending on the situation, scout and non-standard fighters will be assigned to other purposes. (E.I. CAP, Or Extended Recon/Artillery Direction/Escort missions.)


Some basic flight rules follow.

1. Do not dive at full throttle power. This will over torque the prop, and seize your engine.

2. Do not remain at full power for over 2 minutes. Doing so risks Engine Overheat and failure.

3. Make sure to constantly tweak fuel mixture and radiator controls. (if applicable) There is no "Perfect" Ratio. It differs with throttle power and altitude.

4. Be aware. Tunnel vision kills in dogfights.

5. Talk to the other pilots. Make sure you know your relative position and speed.

6. Be Conservative with your weapons. You have limited ammo, and wasting ammo will turn you into a sitting duck.

I'm too lazy to download this game, why not war thunder?

because this game is not warthunder, and is amazingly complex and fun and etc.

The crashes look lame as fuk, and it is like 4 gigs. About 6 days of downloading for me

It's a sim. So, That means if a plane doesn't carry very much fuel, and is made of Canvas and Wood, When it crashes, it's not going to explode. The game tries to replicate WWI aerial combat as close as possible. And does a very good job of it.

We'll be using WWI tactics, signalling, and etc. Consider this a test/Intro/Training run to get the kinks out and get used to the planes. If you aren't interested in realistic games/simulating stuff then odds are your going to find this game frustrating. There's no hand holding, and you have to get a feel for each aircraft. In addition, Shit breaks. So, Pre-flights are a must. Make sure all your shit works on the ground, and it won't kill you in the air. Also, Stay away from birds. Bird + wood and canvas plane = Flaming wreck with bird and people and plane bits all over it.

Again you said tactics... hehehehee.
